โœง FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS โœง
hi welcome to faq.html, these are questions I often get asked about from my irl friends and people online.
are you gay (just to clarify: not the old english slang)
no, but i support people who identified themselves in that spectrum.
where do you get your stuff???
i get it from credits which is right here...
who is your favourite artist, and which song?
onlymonday,เธ—เน‰เธฒเธขเธ›เธต .
ok what about 6 artists that u love
uhh onlymonday, masahito arai, whirr, kino and hev abi, tchaikovsky. i know theyre all niche and from different countries but i am that type of person to not listen to mainstream songs...
what do you do for a living
idk i work hard i do engineering i guess
where are you from
i am from yokohama japan, and ive lived in france, thailand for a little while. now i study in new zealand
hobbies beside coding?
i do marial arts that involves swords (tanto, bokken), and now i do a lot of mechanics problems for my degree... i used to do a lot of niche hobbies during my childhood like pen spinning, playing the guitar, and baseball. also another mention i is that i am lucky that i have supportive parents that allowed me to choose what i liked and what not, and if i wanted to quit they were happy to support me. but please do not give up ! keep trying and it will eventually work.
how long have u have been doing programming for?
around a month, started around mid-february
why did you decide to do coding
a friend of mine showed me that in engineering you need to learn coding, so from there I decided to do coding from 5 minutes a day to roughly now an hour or so whenever I am free.
how often do you update this website
uhh not often since my degree is a bit hard to manage my own hobby time...
any advice for engineering students?
i know a lot of engineers feel down quite a lot, and its something that ive been going through like the past 20 weeks, lecture, revise, study, understand concepts, apply. repeat. a quote that sticks to me while I feel down is: "remember while you're doubting yourself, someone else is looking at you wondering how you do it all."

what is the most famous event that you have attended
uhh i think the tohoku earthquake back in 2011
favourite part about making websites?
uhh probably designing and being able to do whatever is probably the best part about making websites, I can change the size of the image of a certain picture/image or like adjust boxes and stuff to a certain parameter, for me its very significant and I enjoy it. Just a notice, finding pictures and stuff like that take a lot of time so thats something I am not really liking towards it
opposite day - worse part
probably javascript is horrible to code, and probably hating that if it does not work I have to keep on trying.. and trying... with little to no experience its very hard to just do it by yourself, and so it takes a long time to code things like this. thats what i dont like
how did you learn CSS/HTML?
youtube. youtube is the goat for everything for learning if you are a visual learner. but ensure the video is correct info before doing anything. I also recommend a website on neocities that could help you a lot with a guide, named: "petrapixel".
are you great with html, css, and js?
i am great with html cuz its easy to code and understand, but i think im not great with css & js, since i have problems with placing the boxes in the right places, and with js its just not my thing of expertise.
do you keep the same layout or different?
i keep it different layout, since having the same one looks repetitive and boring, I just want to make things a little bit more different so yeah
what would be your dream job if money did not matter
probably I would work for customs like in the airport they seem really cool
do you use visual studio code
yes. to be honest i use vs to write all of this code and then run it with using live server, since... i dont want to upload the false code in the actual website and ppl seeing it.
do you have friends
irl? i have only one to four people but i dont hangout much or do stuff because idk how to invite them whlist having the thoughts that theyre gonna be unavaliable. but online yea, some. i love my friends and i am actually grateful that they check up on me, or have a small talk everyday. its a privilege that i am aware of.
do people irl know abt ur website?
only like 10 people irl knows about my website, but thats about it really. but tbh since i put on my insta page i think more people know......
do you have any other websites?
this is my own main website and i do not plan to make another. cuz i dont need another one lol
why did you host the website on neocities?
i think i hosted the website on neocities because i thought it was the only free website avaliable on neocity, now I know about nekoweb, and others I stick to neocities becaause that is what it is intended for. and to add on i like the old website layout rather than the modern one so thats another reason why I decided to host a website, not a social media
yeah I know lot of yapping but ill fix this later lah
